Great grey toning under the zip! Sienkiewicz's style at this time was fully free to experiment to pioneer comic storytelling to a whole new realm!

Another amazing piece of NM history, this art is fantastic, great piece for your collection. That lower Spalsh panel is the best, love the silhouetted figure on the very 3-dimensional beam. Fantastic find!

I find it so ironic that the man who broke into the industry copying the great Neal Adams, himself having pioneered many conventions of comic book illustration and sequential storytelling, arguably ended up surpassing Adams in terms of how much he brough to the comics medium. As always, brilliant stuff.
