DescriptionHere is a cool 1st appearance cover by a very impressive artist, Peach Momoko.Hallows' Eve, one of Marvel's most interesting new caracters has a very cool power set. She has the ability to create masks with different powers and effects. Some of these masks are: -The mask of Frankenstein's Monster can grant her the abilities of Frankenstein's Monster. -An insect mask inspired by Human Fly can grant her the abilities of Human Fly. -The mask of a Werewolf can grant her the appearance and abilities of a Werewolf. -The Model Mask can grant her the appearance of a Hollywood Icon. ---The Ghost Mask can grant her the intangibility and invisibility of a ghost. -The Black Cat Mask can turn her into a catlike creature with enhanced agility. -The Police Officer Mask can grant her the appearance of a police officer. -The Gorilla Mask gives her the ability to transform into a gorilla and have the strength of one. -The Mummy Mask allows her to transform into a mummy and manipulate projectile wraps. -The Witch Mask grants her the ability to use and cast magic spells. Hollow's Eve was shown to be able to cast a forcefield and telekinetic spell to retrieve her masks. -The Captain America Mask makes her taller, gives her a shield, and grants her enhanced strength. -Hulk Mask grants her greatly enhanced strength. -Slasher Mask grants her the powers of a horror movie slasher. -Spider-Man mask gives her web slinging and the powers of Spider-Man. -Kaiju mask allows her to turn into a building-sized lizard kaiju (that resembles Godzilla) with enhanced strength. Very cool cover to Amazing Spider-Man #14 by Peach Momoko introducing a new villain--Hallows Eve. This new villain uses masks to confuse and confound her pursuers. We can see by the art that poor Spidey is confused indeed. I love what I've seen of Peach's work and this cover is no exception. Her art on this cover is done in watercolors and ink, which gives it a softer look than most Spider-Man covers, but that's not bad. The orange colors on this cover make it very suitable for a Halloween-themed issue. I hope Peach continues to do covers for ASM, it's a refreshing change. Stunning pick-up, congrats!
