DescriptionVery few comics draw me in simply by the cover these days. For the most part because they are on my radar. When I was at my LCS a few months back Hellblazer Dead in America 1 had just come out that week and the cover alone stopped me. I was already a fan of Constantine, but seeing him with Swampthing and Sandman on the cover, I said, “I’m getting this book!” The story is amazing and one of the best, if not my fav this year, and Aaron Campbell’s art fits perfectly with this world. After reading I immediately had to get a piece of art from it, which deciding was not easy as they are all amazing. I noticed the cover and was shocked to find it was available. It’s really my first cover and the work on this is unreal! It’s creepy, cool, detailed, and tells you what this story is about and yet doesn’t at the same time. It’s truly an amazing piece in person and such an amazing representation of not just the series but also these characters and this whole Sandman Universe. Huge shout out to Aaron Campbell with letting this piece go and all your help with getting it. Social/Sharing |

Really nice cover art in the painted style of 60's horror, but with a lot more macabre imagery of the supernatural heroes of Vertigo. Dark and gothic with the vertical red stripes reminiscent of Saga of the Swamp Thing #44 where they explored the underbelly of America.

Aaron Campbell is a master. He rendered John, Dream, and Swampy perfectly.
