Description

I've been on the hunt for a James Jean Batman piece for awhile now and I'm so happy to finally add not only a Batman piece, but a published cover to my collection! These are the final pencils for the published cover and as far as I know inks and colors were done digitally.

The main image is a composite of how the final framed image looks. Please see additional images of finished original pencils, overlay design and framed original art.

I recreated the missing background and design elements to compliment the original art for display. The missing art elements are printed on plexi and overlays the original art for framing.

Super cool! I adored James Jean's covers during the War Drums storyline as well as all of his work for DC superheroes including Batgirl and Green Arrow too. This is probably my favorite and it is so cool you now own it! Thank you for sharing it here with us.
