Description

I have to admit that I am a big fan of Zippy the Pinhead. He’s silly, generally nonsensical, and quite often bizarre, but Zippy is also endearing and his observations can provide insightful political and social commentary. As Bill Griffith has previously explained - “Zippy is usually making an admittedly oblique point. The trick is to enjoy the music of his speech while teasing out the meaning.” Zippy’s famous sayings include: “Are we having fun yet?” “If you can’t say something nice, say something surrealistic”. And- “Reality distorts my sense of television”. I think this daily nicely captures Zippy’s more esoteric nature…but please don’t ask me what it means!
