DescriptionFrom the mid-80s Savage Tales reboot. Written and drawn by the late, great Herb Trimpe. You can see, in the intricate details of these pages, just how much he must have enjoyed creating this series. Beautiful work, this was a surprising Ebay find, and I couldn't be happier to have these representing Mr. Trimpe in my CAF!Social/Sharing |

Very nice. I would not have guessed it to be Herb's art. Who inked these?

I am not a big fan of Herbe's work but perhaps his inkers didn't understand him. This is truly outstanding. Very Toth influenced, especially in the first panel.

Fantastic! The first panel screams Alex Toth while the rest of the page is unique. Herb Trimpe really outdid himself here... Thanks for sharing this treasure!

Just seeing this one, thanks to your title. You definitely didn't overhype this piece, it's fantastic! Makes me wonder why we didn't see more like this from Mr. Trimpe (and makes me understand why BWS had so much respect for him).
