Description

This 10" x 10" original illustration on DC Comics Bristol board was used to produce Kenner's Capture Swamp Thing action figure blister card. Penciled by Carmine Infantino and inked by Mike DeCarlo, the piece is dated 7-8-91. Although a handwritten note at the bottom instructs to "send some water reflections through arm," Kenner ultimately opted to go a simpler route.

Kids could pull Capture Swamp Thing's left hand out to wrap UN-MEN polluters up in a vine net, and then squeeze the toy's knees together to capture the villains for a swift beating with the included spiked Cypress Club accessory. That'll teach them not to recycle!
