Truly an awesome page, Steve! Ironically enough, the two pieces of Sheldon "Shelly" Moldoff "Hawkman" art that I've seen are both from March 1942. The first is your All Star Comics #9 Chapter 1 conclusion page, and the other is the actual cover art to Flash Comics #27. Congratulations once again, buddy. This page couldn't have found a better collection to be a part of unless it were a part of mine of course:-)]

Wow! Why have I never seen this here before! Moldoff was truly a man among boys artistically in those old All-Stars. I am truly envious.

I've never had the opportunity to see most of the Golden Age stories, let alone the art. What an amazing piece of history and art. Congratulations on such a magnificiant piece! As an aside, I was pleased to have picked up some commission pieces by Shelly including a Hawkman. (http://qurls.com?i=50692) It struck me as strange to see his wings wavy and hair-like rather than feathers. Seeing this page makes it clear that he's always illustrated the wings that way. It still seems strange to me but now I understand (sort-of).
