Description

One of the first pieces I ever bought while I was broke and in school. I don't know how I ever paid for this... A Bill Finger Batman homage by Pope from 1997.

According to Paul, this is possibly his first attempt at drawing the caped crusader (in any event one of the earliest drawings) in preparation for his "The Berlin Batman" story in Batman Chronicles #11.
