Mignola plays homage to the origin of a Bat crashing through the window of Wayne Manor with the actual Batman! Key run that helped shape the Mignola look we have today.

Great storytelling and a beautiful Mignola example. The simplicity of the background really allows the figure of the bat to be the star. I love the contrast. The gothic setting of Wayne Manor also suits Mignola's style perfectly.

I had just re-read this one after hearing Mignola discuss the story in his documentary.
What a nice suprise to see that this page amazing land in one of the coolest collections on CAF.
