It's the real deal! Rude takes that Nexus creativity and sharp artwork to this mini and creates a timeless work for the ages.

Always impressed by Steve Rude's perfect style. This page is really beautiful and full of content. Such a great addition.

IIRC, there weren't many pages with them in costume and even fewer with both of them. So glad you got this!

The Master. Another incredible add to your gallery, Simon: storytelling par excellence. I love how Superman just floats, so beautifully and effortlessly defying gravity, in panel one, along with how Rude distinguishes the heroes' differing physical builds throughout. I almost laughed out loud at Batman's first, rather unappreciative (almost sneery dig of a) comment directed towards the Man of Steel, too: "Aren't you needed in Metropolis?" Like Gotham is on fire, things are crazy, and even by Gordon's first-panel admission they'd need a "miracle"... but everything's right where Batman expects them to be. Perfect! Rude giving Superman the arched eyebrow in the final panel alllows Clark to speak volumes (patience, understanding, and true support) in one subtle, understated, and gorgeous square centimeter. Kudos, Simon! What a beauty!

A great example from one of my favorite series as a young man. That first panel with Supes arriving is just delightful. Congrats Simon. I noticed that the page I have wraps up this little rooftop tete-a-tete as Supes and Batman leave together. The circle of art!
