DescriptionSvetlana Chmakova is a best-selling graphic novel cartoonist. She first made a splash with her Dramacon from Tokyopop. Her Berrybrook Middle School series Awkward, Brave, and Crush are commonly found in school and public libraries. I met Svetlana at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, California where they held a miniconvention. I took the chance to pick up several of her books. This selfportrait was drawn in a hand-collated Sherlock Holmes chapbook.Social/Sharing |
