The Jack Kirby Collector #27 Cover featuring Spider-Man, Thor, Ikaris and Iron Man.

Like most I LOVE Bruce Timm for giving us BTAS. Thats for life, but this piece is special thou because it combines the art of two creative legends. King Kirby's art style with Bruce Timms pencil and inks.

Timm light boxed over Kirby's original art in blue pencil, and then inked over it. So this is 100% Bruce Timm pencils and inks. Its also on 11x17 paper which is considered large art as far as Timm goes most of his pieces are on 8.5x11 paper.

Theres also a beautiful hand colored version here on CAF. Per his art rep Albert Moy, Timm can sometimes have two or more pieces of the same art. Usually pencils, or pencils and inks on one, and a photo stat of the final inks that he uses to color.

Very nice! Always liked this one. Nice to see the inked version. Kirby and Timm were meant to go together!
