DescriptionI have missed Art's commission list at every show I have ever seen him at, but thanks to perseverance (and this time putting my son in line to cover while I still hit other artists, because Art is always late:) I have finally scored! I have teetered between characters for a while, as I really wanted either a Zealot or a Black Cat from him, and ultimately when I made the list I decided on Zealot and Art really delivered! He even took mine back to his hotel room for his daughter to take a nap so he had some quiet time alone in his room to work on it, which really makes it shine! This one is so stunning in person and this was one of my highlights of the show! Truly glad to have gotten this one, and it's probably my favorite con commission of all time!I wanted to see this one in color as soon as I got it, so I made a copy and pulled out the Copic markers. So in the additional images you can see what she looks like in full color marker by me. UPDATE 1/21/2018: I recently came across a cool computer colored version of my piece on the Fans of Arthur Adams FB page, where a fellow fan and amateur colorist named Juan Cabral posted this and other Art Adams commission sketches he colored. (I always believe in giving credit where credit is due) He did a great job and was kind enough to send me a hi-res image of it and it looks fantastic, so it was a cool bonus to come across!
