Description

Every Saturday Brett Booth does a couple sketches that he then posts to Twitter and the first people to claim them get them. This was 1 of 2 of Brett's September 1st "Sketch Saturday" sketches. I got this piece thanks to my buddy Richard Oh, who was able to call dibs on this with Brett for me while I was out with my family. I am not on Twitter so I generally miss out on these, but Richard is and he had asked me if I wanted him to try for me and I didn't really think he meant it but I said sure lol. He really came through, so in the end I just had to send Brett the payment via Paypal and it was all mine! I love Brett's Wildstorm work and it has been a cool revival with the stuff thanks to the 25th Anniversary of Wildstorm last year. So he has done some fun Wildstorm pieces recently and I am really glad to have one.

Brett uses a light pencil so the main scan is darkened, but the large scan is raw and unaltered.

It makes no sense that Booth isn't as popular as other big named artist from the same era. That's a great piece.
