Description

The return of Namor!

Super detailed underwater scene of the King of Atlantis regally slouched on his throne. The imperial king could not stay dead for long. I love the sea faring details of the trident, flowing seaweed and lastly the sea shell back drop reminiscent of Botticelli's Birth of Venus.

The light uses of inkwash was a great touch as well.

James, Great cover - every inch is wall-to-wall art! The Monarch of the Seas, the Sub-Mariner, is one of my favorite characters. Most Marvel fans can't wait to see him properly presented on the big screen.

Alex has done some really great work over the last few years, but I feel like this is the piece that should really gain him some recognition. This really is a step above and an absolute perfect rendition of Namor. Congrats, James.
