Description

On 11"x15" board. I met Tim at a show in Jacksonville, FL and he had a stack of his art with him. He leans into the horror and pinup style work, and his art style is very 80's so a lot of it appealed to me but this page really stood out after Tim mentioned the character laying down was Odin. Essentially Odin on his death bed, before he is asked to confront a creature by the townsfolk. The "Doomstar" hand drawn title is a super bonus. Yes Marcus, I see the skull.

In the great tradition of Norse mythology! Sometimes I think comic books are the only place teaching ths mythology. Those Greek and Roman gods take up most of the humanities classes.

Love the art style right down to the hand lettering! There is some nice detail to be had in that half splash. Always happy to discover a new artist and it's a T-Squared for the win!
