Fabulous Michael Cho cover for Batwoman #17. I love these stylized covers that Michael creates for multiple comic book titles. Michael has a real skill for simplifying the looks of various superheroes and getting them down to the bare minimum details you need to know just who they are. This drawing for the cover of Batwoman focuses on her red hair, her red boots and the red bat symbol on her uniform. Add in a cool cape and a hot batcycle and you've got the ingredients for a kickass cover on your LCBS racks.

Thats a beautiful Cho piece, always like when he adds color as well. Also, all this talk about reach and no mention of reach arounds?

So great when Cho uses the colors to create some outlines as well instead of just filling in between linework. With just one color, it feels like a full color piece. We got motion stretching from one corner to the other!

A brilliant design - so bold and effective, as others have said. For me, it works better like this, with a white background, echoing the white highlights and making it seem as though she is a malevolent devil emerging from a burst of light to bring chaos and darkness. Great cover, John.
