this reminds me of a dream I once had where I met another Kavi at a comic convention who collected original comic art, the main difference being was that when he opened a portfolio it magically contained the entire issue to The Dark Knight Returns #1 and then when I went to open my portfolio it was 100% unpublished blue lines of the 13th Batman book to come out in 2022 that was rejected by DC. Dammit! I knew something was off though so I woke up in horror, sweating from the nightmare. Statistically speaking meeting another Kavi who collects comic art is damn near a 0% chance of happening so I should've known the whole time!

Another sign that it was a dream; was Batman book getting rejected by DC. That never happens.

True true, good point. In a subsequent dream I later found out that In this case both the writer and artist made comments publicly that crossed the line of political correctness so much that not only was their book cancelled but they never worked in the industry again!

Funny, I was immediately thinking that it was the creation of characters like this for Superman's rogues gallery, one after another endlessly for decades, that killed everyone's desire to care about Superman and read comics. But that being said, from an original art pov, I could see owning a page just BECAUSE of how he represents everything that DC did wrong for so long. Plus, as a Western fan, this fits!

Nice Terra-Man (Men) page! Certainly the most improbable Superman villain around, but that's why I like him so much!

I wish I was cool enough to use 'owlhoot' in a sentence and get away with it. Sadly...

So this was one of those John Severin unused Marvel inventory Two-Gun Kid issues that Curt Swan redrew and cut apart into a DC Superman issue. In an alternate dimension that is.
PS - Tobias Manning was the worst footballer in the family until Arch played Ohio State. We'll have to wait and see if he rebounds.
