DescriptionJohn Totleben Swamp Thing #48 Page 20 Original Art (DC, 1986). John Constantine is captured by the Brujeria, who plan on unleashing a dark evil force that will drastically change the universe, in this intense page from "A Murder of Crows." John Totleben's run on Swamp Thing, illustrating Alan Moore's scripts, remains the stuff of legend among Modern Age comics fans, and this issue's scenes of Judith transforming into a bird by the Brujeria after being lured in to do their bidding is considered one of the scariest moments from the series. The Brujeria storyline was borrowed for the highly acclaimed, but short-lived, Constantine TV series. This page, featuring Judith turning against her former boss, is loaded with typical Totleben touches; it's in ink over graphite with whiteout on Bristol board, with an approximate image area of 10" x 15".Social/Sharing |

I can not believe that this piece does not have any comment. It is a key piece in the history of John Constantine.
