Description2000ad #2087 Judge Dredd: Integration page 5Art by Dave Taylor Published by 2000ad in 2018 Apologies in advance, as this is a bit of a sentimental post and a toast to Dave Taylor. I was sad to see Dave passed away a couple of weeks ago on August 23, 2025. We weren't super close with Dave living in the UK and me in the US, but I was lucky enough to work with him briefly on my little music-comic. We had the chance to talk about music and art from time to time over email and he was kind enough to gift me this page with a special little remark with my Jack The Radio character on the screen Dave drew the page with blue pencil and then ink. I still enjoy studying all the little touches and details that worked so great for the 2000AD comics. He put so much into his work and beautifully carried on in the style of European greats that came before him. My condolences to his family. RIP Dave. Social/Sharing |

Never get tired of Dredd. Nice to see Freddy Mercury donning the helmet in the 3rd panel.

So many judges in the firing line! That lab scene is breathtaking with details we know nothing about! The only detail that matters is the extra remark to personalize this artist to artist piece.

That's a really special and personal page, so nice of Dave to do and glad you were able to collaborate and get to know him a little bit. Sorry to hear of his passing, may he rest in peace.

Whoaaa! Totally badass Judge Dredd page by Dave Taylor! Love this page with a whole squad of Judges raiding some kind of illicit factory! Love the drones in the first scene warning of the raid. And that second panel with the whole line of Judges firing together is killer! Also, I'm impressed by all the detail that Dave managed to squeeze into that fourth panel! Dave was an amazing artist and always put his all into every story! He will be missed. Great pick-up, congrats!
