Description

A buddy puts together a metal festival in the Little Rock AR area.. He asked me to do the art for a T-shirt. One of the their sponsors, A weed dispensary called The Source, is giving away 200 shirts on a day of the fest. They requested the Man-Thing made, in part, of weed. Who was I to refuse? It might've been too deep a cut to suggest a shirt picturing a New Gods Source monolith, but covered in weed.

I'm pretty much a luddite. So, I drew the the top layer in ink, then drew the bottom layer in ink and pencil, then, after assigning them colors, combined them in photoshop.
