Description

Arthur Ranson blew me away with his work on Button Man in 1992. I had the fortune of getting this and the preceding page which I have framed together to enjoy a little slice of the story.

Arthur obviously had to reduce the height of many pages from this book, using both splicing and covering methods, my guess is because it was originally made for Toxic magazine which used a different aspect? The additional image with the single frame reveals the lower inch which has been obscured, where the black line is. The top frame with the helicopter has a couple of millimeters covered at the top but has also been spliced at the bottom.

Pardon the rough photo I forgot to get a good image before I had it framed...

Awesome Ranson pieces you have, neat to see that additional inch as well. Button Man is one of the greatest thrills to come out of 2000AD, congrats. Splundig vur Thrigg!
