I purchased this directly from Mr. Stroman and wow, what an amazing artist! He has a very abstract dynamic style to his forms, it really feels like a painting ^_^

I told him she reminded me of the Rachael Summers Phoenix with the tuft of hair at front(the Alan Davis Green / Red / Gold Phoenix costume at the middle of his Excalibur run, around issue 62 I think) but I think he took offense to that LOL I thought it was a compliment ^_^ Never question the artist LOL Regardless I love the image!

Awesome! Love how he has postioned Phoenix's fingers into a claw to mirror the fire phoenix's talons. It's subtle but it gives the piece real energy! Congrats!
