DescriptionSo Blue Devil came out soon after I started buying comics and I loved #1s, so when it came out I had to pick it up. The costume design really appealed to me and even though it was never a big hit, I will always have a spot for this series in my heart. Never read that series but that is great cartoony fun by the vastly underrated Colon.

I haven't read it but just based on this one page it looks like a lot of fun! congrats on the page, love the for sale status haha - trying to keep my money but as an art collector that doesn't really seem to be working out these days ;-p

I have to admit, I'm surprised that you decided to buy an interior page, as I expected you were just waiting for a good cover to come along. But if you're going to get an interior page, this is about as good a page as you can get! Blue Devil all over it and having fun, what's not to love?!?

Blue Devil was one of those comic books that shouldn't have worked, but somehow did. I remember reading the book early on and thinking "Comic book heroes aren't supposed to be funny," And then I remembered the wisecracks Spider-Man used to make and the comedic tussels between Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm, and I lightened up and just enjoyed the book. Cool page you've got here with Cassidy and his compatriots squabbling and making a mess of things. Classic Blue Devil humor. Great pick-up, congrats!
