DescriptionI have been a fan of the Green Lantern for ages, but it wasn't until the Johns/Van Sciver GL:Rebirth storyline that made me start to understand Hal Jordan better. Since Van Sciver GL pages are pretty hard and expensive to come by, I have had to pass up a few opportunities to fill my desire for a great Van Sciver Hal GL page. When I read this issue and saw this splash in full color, I knew that this was the piece that I wanted for my collection. It's a gorgeous piece with great movement and an insane amount of detail, from the lantern badge construct common to Van Sciver to the various tendrils of energy radiating off of Hal. I'm overjoyed to have this piece in my collection and am proud to display it to all my friends and family.Social/Sharing |

I feel like I could've wrote the same description, David! You really can't beat a Hal GL splash by EVS...and this one is awesome! Love the emanating energy. I recently picked up a similar piece and feel just as fortunate to have gotten it. Sincere congrats!

You could..not have found a better Hal Jordan piece! EVS is an incredible artist and this is the pinnacle of his Green Lantern art. A jaw-dropping addition to your collection- Congrats!

It is interesting to note what has changed and what has not changed during the last 10 years. What remains the same are that Ethan is still the artist of GL and so are the prices of his original artwork! No inflation for 10 years, you have got a bargain! On the other hand, circulation of Green Lantern has gone down substantially: GL4 Issue 9 (Feb 2006) 86,522 GL6 Issue 8 (Nov 2016) 45,194 We can only conclude that it is the story and not the artist's fault!
