Description

My first Barton piece... one of the few that hasn't landed in Johnny C's collection! This is the cover for "The Development" by Dean McCoy, Beacon Book B414F. "At split-level Sahara Springs every man cast covetous eyes upon his neighbor's wife--Every woman brazenly encouraged these advances." "A biting novel which strips bare the flimsy facade of decency concealing the unbridled sensual desires of America's sprawling Suburbia." I must be living in the wrong suburb!

Dudley Dean McGaughy was a prolific writer of pulp novels and Westerns, publishing over one hundred books during his lifetime. His numerous pseudonyms included: Dudley Dean, Owen Dean, Lincoln Drew, Lin Evans, Owen Hodge, Owen Lynn, Dean McCoy, Dean Owen, Bret Sanders, and Brian Wynn.

'America's sprawling Suburbia." I must be living in the wrong suburb!' All you have to do is move to the town of Sprawling! The suburban part of the town. Nice artwork!
