Ashley Wood

A preliminary piece to Spawn 100. It is decent sized for a prelim piece about 10"x14". I almost hate to admit that I was not really into the Spawn series. I did enjoy the HBO animated show that aired back in the later 90s. But, if you get a shot at Ashley Wood artwork, you take it or live with the regret. I also had a slight additional incentive, I have the painting Ashley created for Spawn 100.

What a wonderful piece - long ago, Ashley Wood's art had a huge influence on my own work, I love seeing his stuff from the 2000s. This prelim is a beautiful piece on it's own and carries so much of what makes his work so special. Congrats!
