OAX Pickup! Won this incredible cover in the auction...When I was flipping through all the auction items this one really caught my eye, I thought to myself 'that's the one' and fortunately I was able to win it. Simone does a great interpretation of Jenny Sparks, and I really enjoyed this series by Tom King and Jeff Spokes. Happy to add this to my collection.

Great crime noir styled cover! Simone's backdrop is heavily inked as the backdrop for a femme fatale image. The lightning strike sparks the skies as much as Jenny's personality.

lovely cover piece by Di Meo and well won at the OAX auction, besides the love for the piece itself your bidding experience may have been enhanced by the open bar, burgers and pizza, or at least by the good vibes and sense of community in the room from fellow collectors. congrats!

It was great to see you at OAX and catch up, Chuck. Congrats on winning this great cover. Di Meo really enhances the 'Spirit of the 20th Century' motif by going to town on the backgrounds and leaving a luminous Jenny in front. I'm woefully behind on my reading but this is a series I was very curious about.
