DescriptionA great Man-Thing pencil sketch by Nick Pitarra.This was done during the 2016 Lille Comics festival where I had a great time with Team Lu. On Sunday, Nick had a pretty heavy day in front of him (due to various factors ;), so I proposed that he'd draw my sketch in pencil only to help him speed up his list. I didn't mind as I already had received a killer sketch the day before and I love pure pencil sketches. Here's the detail heavy result :) It makes me think of the sketches Skottie Young and Kaare Andrews were drawing at shows at the early stages of their career (see my gallery for examples). Well-done! I appreciate how Nick has Man-Thing making direct eye-contact with the viewer. Great character for Nick's style!
