Are you sure this is Neal? I don't see a signature, and it doesn't look like his work to me

Wow, cool. always felt the original looked unfinished. Batman looked too skinny & his stomach muscles too light. This one fills it out more.

I agree with Aric Shapiro,I'm pretty sure that this is not a Neal Adams comission and I'm also not sure that the certificate ist real.

That I am faking commissions and certificates or that I am being fooled by Jason or Neal Adams. I would really appreciate a clarification instead of hints. If you compare this commission with the cover of Batman 245 the similarities are quite obvious. But to put an end to these accusations and so called expert opinions without detailed explanations I will send this comments to Jason Adams and ask him for a clear statement. I would also appreciate some backgrounds on my email account how you come to the opinion. At least Aric did not answer my request for deeper insights.

Hi Bernd, Hey if at any time you'd like to have this signed, Neal will be happy to do it. I don't know how many times Neal finishes up a commission that I have to go back to him to get him to sign it. maybe 20% of the time. If I don't catch it, at least there's the certificate on the back signed by him. Neal is actually quite proud of how this drawing came out, so I can't imagine how anyone can doubt he drew it, and as far as the certificate goes, since we make them ourselves, Neal signs and also finger prints them, I can't imagine why someone would say after looking at an image on the internet that they "can not be sure the certificate is real." Very odd statement. There's my hand writing, Neal's signature, and Neal's finger print, on the back of what is unmistakably Neal's art. Perhaps it is the angle of which the photo was taken? OK... I was wrongFrom a neutral Point of View i find it disgusting how Collectors Are wrongly accused. Good that this solved. I still think it very weak that after all this public accusations there are no serious and honest apologies from Ari and Steele what is what decent people should do. If I look at the piece I can understand that Neal is very proud

A very intense Batman by Neal! Too bad you had the controversy, but think it was handled properly by you and Jason.

It was my first commission ever and I was very happy with it. As I was also new on CAF I was also quite surprised about the reactions. Luckily this is over and it is a lot of fun to share art and thoughts with fellow collectors. Bad start, great improvement.
