I have always been a big fan of the Silver Surfer drawn by John Buscema. IMHO the best depicton of the Surfer ever was rendered by the team of John Buscema and inks by Joe Sinnott as in Silver Surfer 1-3 and Fantastic Four 120-123. So I aimed for a piece that comes close to that. I think Ron Frenz perfectly drew in the spirit of Big John and the inks of Joe Sinnott speak for itself.

If I do not know better I would believe this is a Buscema/Sinnott piece end 60ies/ beginning 70ies.

Definitely one of my grail pieces

What a great homage but an awesome piece of art in its own right! Both of these masters seemed to have fun with this one. The Surfer in all his cosmic glory. Sincere congrats!

After just finishing reading surfer series again this totally captures the cosmic spirit--and then much more. Love the pencils by Frenz image being included.
