DescriptionThe great Lee Weeks showing an amazing portrayal of the man in Blue. When i discussed the theme of the piece, Lee (the ever polite gentleman) asked me "would it be okay if i made the piece greytone, but made the costume under his shirt colored? really making the piece jump out" I just looked at him and gave a thumbs up (what else could i do to such a magnificent idea?!) Thank you again Lee! You did it again! Social/Sharing |

Aric said it first and I agree 100%. The limited color use makes this image truly striking. Lee Weeks has done it again.

Even for Weeks, this is an incredible piece! The color does SO much for this- it's like he's shedding his drab disguise for his true (vibrant) self!

Whoaaa! Now that's a classic Superman image if there ever was one! Gorgeous commission by Lee Weeks of Clark Kent tearing open his shirt and revealing his Superman costume underneath! I love the fact that Lee painted this all in B&W except for the costume which is painted in full color! Brilliant! Lee Weeks is a phenomenally talented artist who's done a ton of great work over the years. I'm really happy for you that you were able to commission him and receive such a fantastic piece!
