Description

A stunning work by the greatest and most published German artist in the science fiction illustration field. Originally, this Bruck artwork was used as cover of TERRA #148 published on December 2, 1960. Later Bruck refreshed the cover a bit for PERRY RHODAN #665 and added the soldier collage in the middle (it is from the UTOPIA #167 cover published in 1959). The painting in its current form Cover art for Perry Rhodan 665, was published first on May 21, 1974. It measures 12.5 x 17"

Great drama to the piece with the crash landing and a pilot feeling its effects. Very shiny and bright color from the foreground to the skies beyond the horizon.
