DescriptionSo Punisher has killed the marvel universe long before Deadpool.. but he's also fought Moby Dick long before Deadpool killustrated came out where Deadpool killed the famous whale. As you may or may not know - I relish this kind of humour.Besides the ridiculous concept, the reason I went after this cover is the stunning art. What makes this cover so cool for me is the intricate rendering by master artist Mike Deodato. One of the things I love about this artist is his diverse style and strong inking abilities. I agree about the "stupid concept" (your words), but I also agree that it is a great piece of art. You definitely have a one-of-a-kind Punisher cover here!

After reading your comment I realized I could have expressed myself better. Changed 'stupid' to ridiculous which is what I really was trying to say.

A dynamic shot and you're not kidding about the inks! Deodato is one of best at varying this techniques for different images. Hard to beat a great piece of art that also resonates so much personally! Congrats!
