DescriptionI have been after a good (bold/large) Punisher and/or Wolverine example by Mark for the past 4-5 years so when this one popped up recently it was an easy decision to jump on it. I have had other art by him, that I let go and passed on other nice pieces - all because what I really wanted was Punisher or Wolverine. One Down, One to go. Reach out if you got something to sell.For his part, Mark had a great rawness to his line work (and inks) that really appealed to me even as his anatomy pushes reality to its breaking point. Ultimately though, all of that is part of the charm. On a personal level, Tex is a down to earth guy and the couple of times I met him at shows he was a pleasure to talk to. Finally - Thanks Ruben and Jordan for making this happen! Remember kids - Punisher says - don't try this at home! (Can comic characters even be drawn smoking in mainstream comics these days?) Meh, I've seen larger. JUST KIDDING! This is an EPIC image of the Punisher, and Tex really captures the gravity and grittiness of the character perfectly. Yowza, I love this.

Big time buy! Just by his presence, Tex's Punisher will dominate any 90's page in which he appears. A grand 90's presentation of badassery.

Texeira is all about raw energy and this piece has that in spades! Perfect fit for the Punisher too! Huge congrats!

Comic characters can't smoke in comics nowadays but I believe they can still do steroids ;)

Weights would use The Punisher to get in shape. This is a sweet Punisher splash. I so dig Texeira's 90s style, and that elongated Punisher logo on the wall is very cool. A 4 stogie page. ;) Congrats!

Nope, no smoking these days, but I think Frank would find a way to get it in somehow before print if he really wanted to! Nice example from Tex's work. Dig the upward perspective and that head turn to his right. And the Tex linework and exaggerated anatomy is there as you note. I like the way the lettering goes down the right, too. Congrats!

I should be "punished" for nor owning this page myself :) Classic early 90s muscle mayhem and Tex still rules on the Punisher (together with Big JohnJrJr and Mike Zeck)!
