DescriptionLe Repaire de la Murene has always been my favorite cover from the Spirou albums. When I had the chance to get a comission from Munuera, I had totally clear it had to be this cover. The result was a terrific homage to the master Andre Franquin. This beauty is 58x39cm! I added some additional images with the original cover, the comission photoshoped as if it was a cover from the series, a photograph for the whole page and another with Munuera holding the art.I want to thank fellow caffer (and great friend) Rafa Amat for making this possible, and to the artist for doing such a great work. Aunque sea en español, te tengo que dejar el comentario. El dibujo es de calidad superior. Da gusto ver esas acuarelas. En persona debe ser espectacular. Digno de tu colección.

El dominio de Munuera con las acuarelas es espectacular. Deja sin aliento cuando la miras. "En persona" debe ser sublime. Ojalá pueda tener un Munuera algún día. ENHORABUENA!!!

Great cover recreation! Love the painted water, looks even better than the original. Though, the Franquin cover will look great framed next to it. ;-)
