I picked up the signed Black and White print waaaaayyy back in 1978 at a convention in Columbia, SC. I was a huge fan of Tim's work and this was the first signed print I had ever purchased ($10). I've kept the B/W print ever since.
When I was at Tim's house last June, he started painting this print with acrylic paint (lightly watered down - to almost a water color effect). The previous post of Tim in his studio shows this print on his desk when he just started to paint it.
This is the only Sic Semper Tyrannis print that he has ever hand colored. What an honor to add this to my collection of Tim's work.

A whole narrative in a single beautifully-coloured image. You cannot but help being reminded of the classic Worms of the Earth story Tim Conrad worked on with Barry Windsor-Smith.

I completely agree. This piece certainly brings back memories of Worms of the Earth, by Smith & Conrad. Such a classic story.
