DescriptionFrom the classic "Even An Android Can Cry" story by Roy, John and George. My 2nd page from the issue. Thrilled to add another page by the team of John Buscema and George Klein. For me Klein is my favorite inker over Big JohnSocial/Sharing |

Great page from one of the first comics I bought with my own allowance. And yeah, Klein's inks are tops on Big John's pencils.

Seems like this issue loomed large in a lot of our childhoods. I remember poring over the art in this over and over and cherishing Avengers #58 as a standout comic. Klein over Buscema was magic. Congratulations, Brian!

Agreed Klein was of the best inkers on early Buscema. Great example!

George Klein really was the top Marvel inker at this time! He embellished so many great pages... It really was a loss when he departed so young... This page fully demonstrates how good he could be in combination with John Buscema: beyond classic!

IMO, this run of the Avengers is the greatest in the entire series- better in some ways than the Kree-Skrull War issues. This is exceptional.

Just stunning, Brian, great seeing so many Avengers inked by Swan's best inker as well! Congratulations, buddy!
