Description

Update: This drawing has been inked in glorious fashion by Bob Almond.

From 2017: The team-up career of Ben Grimm had many firsts and this is one of them... the starting point in a 107 issue journey that ended 9 years later. In tribute to that momentous occasion, here is the Thing and Man-Thing doing battle with the Molecule Man - and each other - in "Citrusville", Florida, a la Marvel Two in One # 1 (originally by Steve Gerber, Gil Kane and Joe Sinnott).

As always, Darryl was a pleasure to deal with and I encourage others to seek out one of his commissions.
