DescriptionA fantastic, if somewhat challenging trip into the arcanes of Magic: Alan Moore takes us again by the hand into the backyard of the human mind better to show us our largely unknown building bricks... And, boy, did he get the ideal artistic sparring partner in the person of J.H Williams III who turns up wonder upon wonder, especially in this highly mystical part of the journey... Every turn of the page drops the reader in the middle of exotic, yet terribly familiar landscapes where nothing is what it seems while being exactly it! And let's not forget the dazzling inkwork by Mick Gray who perfectly enhances the layouts and pencils to create some unforgettable comic art. This double splash is a perfect example of the mind-boggling nature of the series, with a chance (or not) meeting between our heroines and mage Aleister(Alice) Crowley. Believe me, it's all the more impressive when seen in person!... Social/Sharing |

That's a beautiful DPS, remarkable both in terms of art and script (of course)!

I am pleasantly surprised at the number of DPS that Promethea engendered.
