This is freakin' epic! Love the realistic detail in how Spidey's costume drapes over his body. Love the contrast between the vibrant colors of Spidey, GG and the pumpkin bombs versus the more muted colors of the city around and below them. You can imagine what it would be like to look up and see that "battle ballet" taking place way up in the sky.

I agree with the other comments that the details in this piece are amazing! On first glance, if I didn't know it was a painting, I would've thought it was a photograph! The image of Spidey looks especially life-like! Huge congrats Joe!

I remember when I first started collecting Watson was just coming on the scene and doing a lot of painted covers for Marvel. He would have been a good choice for some Spidey cover work as this indicates. Bravo!
