Description

Ever since getting the Josephine sketch from Sean, I've wanted more.
As I mentioned then, Sean has an awesome BigCartel shop (http://seanphillips.bigcartel.com/), where it's possible to buy most of his books and as an added bonus, every book comes signed and sketched in.
Which is great, because Sean makes wonderful comics which I already wanted and the added bonus of getting original art is just perfect.

His work with Ed Brubaker is especially great and I've wanted Criminal for a long time, so I finally started getting the series from Sean.

I wanted something to make my Criminal collection even more special, some unifying theme with the sketches. Then, as I was looking at the books in the store, it struck me.
Batman villains.
Most of the Criminal titles match up perfectly with a Batman villain, everyone's favorite criminals. It's perfect.

This is the first book in the series, "Coward". The choice of Batman villain was obvious and Sean did a great job on Doctor Crane.
