DescriptionSpace Riders #1 Fried Pie Variant Cover(s)Art by Jim Rugg Black Mask Comics - 2017 UPDATE 3/29/2017 - This piece has been used for two published variant covers for the debut release of the 'Galaxy of Brutality' arc. Fried Pie Comics used this piece for two limited shop-variants!!! After seeing Jim do a Space Riders poster for SecretPanel.org I knew I had to inquire to see if their was an original or if he'd be up for a commission. As luck would have it the concept I had fit with another layout he had started for the poster. Jim completed this piece at home and I was able to pick it up at Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC, USA on June 17th, 2016. It's HUGE. Many thanks to Jim for taking the time to create this GEM and it was amazing hearing from other collectors at the show and at Jim's table about this one. Social/Sharing |

I know I already said this to you at the show, George, but it bears saying again and again. This piece is AMAZING! Glad I got the chance to see it up close.

This is stunning! I've been looking at more and more of Jim's work since getting into the Cartoonist Kayfabe videos on YouTube, and this may be the best I've seen.

Thank you! This blew me away when I picked it up at the Con and it's huge. I should probably add a photo to show the scale. Jim is such a talent and can do so many styles really well.
