I love how he ghosted those faces over the universe. And that lion warrior is really nicely done. Man, that military pin on his chest must hurt, tho. And that ink wash is top-notch! Big congrats!

Magnificent page, featuring really early, if not the first official interior work from Bill Sienkiewicz. Gorgeous page with awesome details. Congrats on this monumental splash page filled with lots of early history both from artist and character, 6th appearance of Star-Lord, I think as well.
