Description

I've mentioned my love of Sub-Mariner and my love of Carmine Infantino. This splash to Defenders #55 brings two of my favorite things in comics together. It's a great splash!

Story Info: The Power Principle Part Three Emotion, Ego...and Empty Expectations!, script by David Anthony Kraft, pencils by Carmine Infantino, inks by Klaus Janson; The Defenders, with the help of a deap-sea monster, stop Sergei and release Red Guardian from his power; Unfortunately they are all suffering from radiation poisoning.

I like how the foot transitions off the page at the bottom into the real foot on the carpet. But really, awesome splash!!!!

Nice plash from a great period for the Defenders. I have owned this splash for a while and it is a great piece. Well chosen!
