DescriptionOK, can't believe how lucky I am. Talk about a first! While Spider-Man #14 was the first appearance of the Green Goblin, and Spider-Man #37 is the first time that Norman Osborn is named, his FIRST Appearance was in Spider-Man #23 Page #6! And I was fortunate enough to get! Thanks to Glen Brunswick on showcasing and holding for me!More info from Ditko! Though Osborn would not be introduced by name until The Amazing Spider-Man #37, Ditko has said that a character he drew in the background of two panels in issue #23 was intended to be Osborn, seeded in advance of the reveal. This background character, a member of a businessmen's club and a friend of J. Jonah Jameson, would reappear in The Amazing Spider-Man #25, 26, and 27, and when Norman was formally introduced in issue #37, he too was stated to be a member of the club and friend of Jameson's. I love the first tier's "classic" Peter bit (not to mention Peter's "Doh!" expression in the third panel), the middle tier shows off Ditko's economical storytelling along with some great shots of the Goblin (which really makes the page pop) and, of course, the scene in the executive club in the third tier has some nice artistic details along with the (secret) introduction of Norman Osborn in the third tier. Seems like you got your money's worth with this page.

Great page congrats! There's a very nice pair of panels with the green goblin in the top right and peter in the middle right in complementary poses. The expressions are fantastic throughout and I wonder if Norman's trademark hairstyle originiated out of the need to distinguish him from the background.

Superb page! That look of craziness on the Goblin's face (mask?) on panel 6 only gets beaten by the Joker on a good day!

Historic! And a couple great shots of GG. Always loved Ditko's original interpretation. Congrats!
