DescriptionNeal Adams is one of my all time favorite artists, and The Flash is my all time favorite character! Neal is very well associated with Batman, if not most associated, so add these 3 together, and you have an incredible page of art!On this page penciled by the legendary Neal Adams from Brave and the Bold #81 (1969) we find Batman and the Flash teaming up to battle Bork, a new foe who is invulnerable and bullet proof. Inks are credited to both Dick Giordano, who worked with Adams on many of his most famous stories, and Vince Colletta, best known for inking Jack Kirby's pencils on Thor. We first see Batman in his Batmobile with the Flash running along side. Then we see Bork deflecting bullets being shot at him by some rival crooks. Batman enters the scene in his fan-favorite automobile. In the final panel we end with a great depiction of a moody Batman at the dawn of the 'Creature of the Night' era that cemented Adams and Batman together for the rest of comic book history. The page is signed by Neal Adams on the bottom margin. Synopsis for Batman and The Flash: "But Bork Can Hurt You!" When mercenary for hire named Bork arrives in Gotham City and realizes that he's mysteriously invulnerable, he begins a campaign to take over the city, even besting Batman in combat. While Batman is trying to stop Bork and his followers, Batman sends the Flash on a quest to find the source of Bork's power. Flash finds it in a wooden statue carved into Bork's likeness, however it appears to be equally invulnerable. Running it straight through the sun however destroys it. With the source of Bork's power destroyed, Batman is able to defeat him in single combat. Bork is then turned over to the authorities. Social/Sharing |

Batman, Flash, and the Batmobile in Neal Adams' vision may be formidable! But they are about to get Borked up!
