DescriptionI really enjoyed Bruce's journey of regaining the mantle of the bat after Knightfall. Beyond his body his will and spirit were broken too which in turn put a strain on his support system. Norm always had that amazing talent of showcasing emotions and he captured it really well here. I especially like his use of purple in this painting.And as a bonus I get to cross off Alfred from my cover check list! Social/Sharing |

Very nice, man. A moody piece and I love the juxtaposition of the warm colors at the center vs. the purples/darks as you move out. Congrats!

Breyfogle defined the look in this era and to have a painted piece - amazing! I love the emotion in this, the shadow of the the bat, all of it! Huge congrats!
