Yeah, it has some interesting design choices. The moon and the gargoyle form a kind of figure-eight that centers the smaller figure of the Batman and gives it impact despite its size. Also, it's interesting how he let the cape and the wings mirror each other.

Even among your collection, this is flippin' crazy CRAZY great! Most such commissions are more close up, but this works so well because of it's amazing details, composition and the imposing look to Batman. If ANY piece deserves the "trade dress" treatment of a logo and "fantasy cover" treatment, it's this. Reminds me a bit of old Perez covers.
